Hi everyone, Ronnie here. You're listening to Clean with me, the podcast about cleaning to listen to

while you clean. Okay, so today's episode is about getting ready for company, but don't click out of it yet if you're not having company over because obviously the house needs to be cleaned whether you're having company or not.

That's just going to be kind of the spin on this particular episode.

Kind of reminds me of sometimes when I tell the kids,

we need to get this house spotless. They're like, who's coming over? And then, you know, I feel a little

irritated. So anyway, don't just be asking who's coming over. We're just going to clean the house

anyway, okay? But usually the first

thing we do in a cleaning session is start some laundry, but if you are actually expecting guests,

that's not the first thing you're going to do. First thing you're going to do is make sure that you're

presentable, okay, and, you know, be quick about it. This isn't time for a long

primping session, okay? Somebody's coming over, and then you're going to want to make sure that your

house smells good. So light a candle, take out the trash real quick, and then next, I want

you to start cleaning at the front entrance of your home.

Because while somebody's knocking on the door, you know, maybe someone else in your house could answer the door while you're finishing up those last dishes or something.

But the first thing they're going to see is the entrance area.

So you might even want to check your front porch.

Make sure it's not too bad, but let's face it, the inside of the house is more important.

So unless your porch is a disaster for some reason and you're just storing a bunch of junk out there.

Okay.

But straighten up your front entrance and then

just start working your way to where you've cleaned everything that they can see from the front door.
