My guest this week is none other than a shift rider.

His name is Kyle Beaton, and he races in Canada and the MX2 class for all you Americans.

That is the 250F class or the Lights class or the 125 class.

Really depends on how old you are and where you're coming from.

But Kyle came down to the US this year and raced the four supercrosses, qualified for two of them,

and simply put, he's one of my guys i like the kid i want to help

him i first met him in 2005 when i was at yamaaha and we did the uh canadian world supercross rounds

yamaha canada's instructions to me with the bike is at the end of the race give it to this kid named

kyle beaton he's going to take it home.

So I got to meet Kyle.

I got to meet his dad, and they were great people.

His dad always telling me and reminding me that Kyle's schooling comes first,

and then he can pursue his career as a motocross rider.

And he's pretty good rider.

I watched him that weekend, and he was really good. He just crashed a whole bunch, went fast, crashed, got up, went fast again. And I saw something in him that I just thought was, you know, some potential there to help him out.

And when I heard he needed to help securing some sponsors, I made some phone calls and got us some deals

and certainly helped him out last year in the MX2 class in Canada, MX2 West. He won his first ever national

Canadian national, the Nimo, BC, and I was really, really happy to be there to see that for him, to see

him do that. I think that he's got a future in the sport as full-time down here in the U.S. eventually,

maybe following the footsteps of Dusty Cladden, the Mighty JSR,
