What's up, guys, Guy here. It is Thursday afternoon. First, uh, real day of March Madness.

I did a YouTube video on Saturday, last Saturday, but did not make it a podcast. So I did want to

tell you briefly what I said there. And then Rhett Lewis from NFL Network, who was great,

um, talking about first round guys he really liked coming out of the combine potential

niners picks the end of first round players he really likes in general so that's coming up producer

Connor will join us at the back end with a couple questions follow-ups as well but I'm really

excellent insight from Rhett as expected he's a really good buddy of mine he's really sharp

one thing I said two things uh Joey Bosa has not signed anywhere as of this. And I did want to

just the audience on the YouTube and the podcast, or a lot of you are different. And I did want to

say something here that I said on YouTube on Saturday, which is that from what I'd heard,

the right number for Joey Bosa, this is not from the Niners saying this.

This is somebody with another team said they thought the number for Joey Bosa was like $7, $8 million for that price.

You're getting a good player.

I think when you go back and look, and I did this at length on the YouTube video at Joey last year,

the feeling is, you know, 25 snaps is probably the right number. 40 snaps

is not. When you go back and look at last year, he wore down. He was not as productive in the

second half back end of the year as he was early in the year in the, you know, the first half of the

year. So that is why he's not getting the, you know, the money he got last year from Buffalo, that $12, $13 million range.

And so that's the target. If you're looking at it from a Niners perspective and they get Joey

Bosa, a lot of people will be fired up. I would be excited about it, but it's not going to be at 12.

I think people feel like the value is at 7 or eight. You're talking about a specialty pass rusher, not a 40, not a 50 snap guy for sure, not a 40 snap guy. You want it to be a 20, 22 snap guy. And that just means he becomes a part of a solution. He is not in and of himself the solution. The other thing I want to talk about before, Rhett, is, did you see the report that the Niners are holding out for a seventh round pick for Brandon Ayuk? It came from me, apparently. That's not what I said. It got misconstrued. On Saturday, I got several text messages from people like, it got aggregated that I said that the Niners are

holding Brandon Ayuk until they get a seventh round pick. It just became like fact, which is not what I said on
