He's been a long time friend of the Chicago Bulls organization, Chip Schaefer.

He was the head trainer during the dynasty years and the 90s.

Tell us your favorite story about working with Stacey King during the early 90s.

Ah, why there are so many to choose from.

From my great first encounter when I was sort of auditioning for the job.

But Stacey and I were talking about this the other day.

At the time, I was the head athletic trainer at Loyola Marymount University in Los Angeles and applying for the job.

And at that time, Somer League was held at Loyola, which kind of gave me a leg up.

You know, for the job as an applicant.

And so I was taking care of the team during the Somer League.

This would be summer in 1990.

And Stacey had just finished his working year along with BJ.

I think Jeff Sanders was on the team and Will is coming off his second year.

And we had some good times out there.

But there was a wonderful story that Stacey maybe even talked about on this show.

We were having an off day practice over at Morningside High School.
