Most of our members call themselves atheists and agnostics or some

other creative names. We are part of the growing segment of America that identifies itself as

non-religious. And we'll be talking, of course, today about Barack Obama's speech, saying he's

not going to dismantle the faith-based initiative. He's going to enlarge it and just rename it.

Obama, of course, gave his speech earlier in the week in Zanesville, Ohio.

It created exactly the kind of photo op to woo evangelical voters that he ironically criticized Bush

for doing with his faith-based initiative.

And later in the show, we'll talk with a free thought activist living in the actual buckle

of the Bible Belt, rural Alabama, and the annual Independence Weekend, Free Thought

Event.
