Hello, everyone. I'm here as a guest interviewer for the trauma therapist podcast.

What a lovely invitation.

I've been a guest with Guy McPherson several times over the years and love the trauma

therapist podcast.

I think it's, well, it's one of the most important ways that we really connect with each other as trauma

therapists and Guy has offered so much over the years. So when I saw this invitation to be

an interviewer and invite somebody, I thought, I'm going to invite my daughter.

So I'm Jan Wynhall, and I'm the creator of the Feltzense Polyvagal model,

and I'm an educational partner with the Polyvagal Institute.

And last year I started the Feltzense Polyvigel Model Institute.

And I'm here today with Marika Heinrichs, who amongst many other things, is also my daughter and the creator of the embodied ancestral inquiry model. So Marika, we chat lots

about what's going on in not only our own personal lives, but also

what's happening in our professional lives and how they overlap and what a gift that is to be

able to do that with one's child. It's amazing. So do you want to say a little bit, I always like to invite people to

introduce themselves because I think it gives you an opportunity to share what's important to you

rather than just listing off a lot of things. Yeah, thanks. I always find when I introduce

myself that I say something different every time.

I'm Marika, and I'm a somatics practitioner, and I'm a writer, and a teacher slash facilitator slash spaceholder.

And I co-founded training and methodology that is called embodied ancestral inquiry.

I'm also a former psychotherapist, and I work as a body worker, and my lineages in

semantics are pretty varied.
