I'll be guest hosting the entire two-hour program today and as a lot of you know from my many appearances here including my

guest hosting last Monday February 24th I'm an investigative journalist a

medical political analyst and an occasional talk show host.

Before we get underway today, I want to acknowledge and thank everyone who watched or

listen to the program last Monday when I was the guest host.

And also a very special thanks to the people who left comments at YouTube.

I read and appreciated all of them more than you can know.

Now I do what I do, that is report, analyze, write, and speak in order to share what I know, to share my experience and what I have found out.

My only purpose now is to do this for an audience of readers, viewers, and listeners.

So without you, well, it reminds me of the thought experiment

that's like a Zen Cohen.

If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound?

Well, technically, of course, yes it does, but if there's no one there to hear it and respond to it,

it may be something else entirely.

Now in the past week I've been writing and speaking about the premature death of a special

person who was both a patriot and a man of deep Christian faith,

and that is Philip Haney.

And that makes me think about death and life in general.
