particular week when I somehow managed to get Damon on the show. Still not really sure how that

and making sure that Bradshaw did want to indeed do it.

Damon is a legend in the sport, despite him not really ever winning a major championship,

and in this interview he explains why he thinks the fans still love him.

I guarantee you that if you went through the ProPits today and

took a poll, the majority of riders, mechanics, and industry people would say that Damon was their

childhood hero. He was definitely one of mine for sure growing up and I have to apologize ahead of

time if I sound like a bit of a fan during our phone call. It was just really cool for me to talk to him

and he seems really down to earth and I just,

sometimes I lose it a little bit in this, you'll hear.

He's okay with his pass and most importantly, he's very honest and open, even when I asked him some tough questions, so that was cool.

When I was at Yamaha, he came to a couple of races, but I never really got a chance to talk to them, but I sure wanted to. Well, years later, I got my chance, and luckily for all of you, I recorded it.
