I wanted to get Reedy on the show,

despite him doing it after his Anaheim won victory, because he's had some unbelievable

supercross seasons, and this one might be the best one of all. For all of the greatness that he's

shown out on the track, there's been some great drama in this season as well. From his bike

breaking with three turns to go to being sick at Minneapolis and finishing seventh to his

horrendous get off in Detroit to where we stand right now. Reed, fighting a shoulder injury,

trying like hell to wrap this title up and Kevin Windham just getting closer and closer.

That's a story I thought people wanted to hear. That and the fact that maybe

he was going to spill his guts on where he's going to ride next year also contributed to me

having him on the show. There's two rounds left and just what might be another thrilling end of

the season. And I thought he showed a lot of heart in fighting this through this thing. And there's no

doubt that the guy who has the third most wins all time in

supercross is really gutting this thing out he's a lightning rod for controversy uh he speaks his mind

and does what he wants to on and off the track he's becoming to me kind of an mx version of matt

malattin the road racing great and what do you know they're both australian we had some battles

when we were at Yamaha

together, but it's all behind us now. I immediately put it behind me when he got a hundred bucks from

me in Vegas one time and turned it into 400 in about 20 seconds and then said to me that that is the
