Hello, friends. This is Scott Pauley, and I want to welcome you today to enjoying the journey.

We're beginning a little different because this episode is a little different. I'm so happy that you've chosen to join us.

I hope you'll share this particular broadcast with your

friends and family because today we're concluding our study of the book of Jonah with a very special

guest. In fact, I think this is the first time I've ever had a guest on our broadcast. I hope

he'll be the first of many more guests in the future. This particular guest means a great deal to me

because he's a friend and a fellow worker in the gospel. Stephen is serving in the same part of the

world that Jonah ministered in, and he's preaching the same message. You know the message. Jonah

2, verse number 9, the message we all need to hear, salvation is of the Lord. And interestingly enough, it was the

Book of Jonah many years ago that deeply affected my friend and caused him to change his whole

perspective on souls, on people. And now has been the message he's been sharing with those people.

I want to invite you now to join me as we listen to the heart

of one of God's servants and pray that the Lord will help us all to have a deeper perspective on God's

heart. Well, it is certainly a joy to be with you on the broadcast today, and I'm so very grateful for this opportunity.

I have so enjoyed walking through the pages of Jonah again and studying this powerful minor prophet.

What a powerful book of the Bible, and I'm so very grateful.

I am thankful to the Lord for the heritage that he gave me.

I was raised in a home where I came to know the Lord in an early

age. I was raised with a mother and a father that loved the Lord and taught us the word of God,

sisters who love the Lord, and all of them are in love with Jesus and serving him today,

and I'm grateful for that. I was reared in a good Bible preaching church. But nothing is powerful until it is
