we think it's important to work to keep state and church separate and also to be an alternative voice,

to educate the public about the views of us who are none of the above.

And it's just the first week of December, but you'd think all hell was breaking out.

And if you had the misfortune to listen to Fox News lately, it's really just us free thinkers and nothing to worry about.

We're not declaring a war on Christmas, contrary to what Bill O'Reilly has said.

But as our producer, Brian Turrani said last year, we would like to lob a few snowballs at it, maybe once in a while.

The National Freedom for Religion Foundation has placed two winter solstice displays at state capitals.

One is out of Madison, Wisconsin, where we're broadcasting from at the Wisconsin

State Capitol, and that's marking our 13th year in a row there. It's a tourist attraction, we're told,
