Summary

Jimbo’s back alongside Carl Anka, Duncan Alexander and Dan Bardell to close the international window and look ahead to the return of the Premier League.

Carl regales us with tales of his trip to Nigeria as Ghana progress to the World Cup while Mane and some lasers see off Salah’s Egypt. Meanwhile England players stick together as Maguire gets booed by his own fans.

The Athletic’s Charlotte Harpur is part of a record-breaking attendance at the Clasico at the Camp Nou, a momentous occasion for women’s football and another chance to hail the greatest sports team on the planet.

The Premier League returns with the title and top 4 race getting back underway. Are Arsenal or Spurs the favourites? And how embarrassed should they be if Man United get 4th?

Plus the Wolves Villa rivalry, Frank Lampard loses at FIFA and Mike Dean becomes VAR.
