Today we're very excited to talk to Sean Gunn who plays

Yandu's first mate Craglin and the biggest superhero movie of the summer

Guardians of the Galaxy volume two. He's also perhaps more importantly at least to

me Kurt Gleason on Gilmore Girls, can I just say I had no idea that

Kirk had a last name?

From space pirates to basement dwellers, Sean is a versatile actor.

He's also a real nerd about underground rap and math and cats, all of which of course we will talk about today on Nurdette.

Sean Gunn, welcome to the show.

So what is it like to be in the biggest superhero movie of the summer?

It's trippy, can I use that word?

Yeah, for sure.

I'm certainly very proud of the movie, and I'm very glad that it's out because I've been sort of working on in somewhere or another for

years but yeah now that it's out and it's doing so well it's been very strange. I was just in the UK shooting something and I was surprised

by how many people had seen the movie already everywhere I went. So that's gratifying. So what's the weirdest thing that someone has like

yelled at you when they recognize you from the variety of roles that you've played? Oh my gosh. Well I have had a young woman have me autograph their arm and then tattoo the autograph.
