and Oh, Hey everybody welcome to

welcome to another episode of Purple Insider as we look back at another day of training camp the pads came on I actually

heard a position coach yell the pads are on and why I want to hear them popping which is just you know absolutely

perfect for us the fifth day of Vikings training camp and we have so much to

talk about I mean just even in the time that I left the facility and drove back here to my studio,

the Vikings had a guard visit, which is kind of interesting as well.

So there's all sorts of things to discuss lots of topics.

Danile Hunter was out there for the first time.

Mackay Blackman got first team reps for the first time the rookie

cornerback third rounder as they mixed him in in a drill near the goal line and

so he was in there for the first time since mini camp where he got some work but had had mostly been

Juan Williams and so I've got notes from today notes from Brian Flores notes from

Daniel Hunter who said he wants to be a Viking forever does that mean that

it's not off the table that he could play through this year and then sign.

Brian Flores seemed extremely excited.

And Brian Flores, you have to understand,

is not an extremely excitable guy. He is a very straightforward intense man, but when he was talking about

Danile Hunter, he could not help himself go a little bit grin there knowing that he just got a guy that has

31 sacks in his last 40 games top 10 and pressures last year top 10 in PFF grade. So I also think that Brian Flores knew that they weren't going to

sack just about anybody without Daniel Hunter there. And yes, Alexander is right.

If the Vikings pay him forever, lots of money,

then he'll be a Viking forever.
