We are here to tell you stories that will hopefully interest you,

maybe freak you out a little bit, give you

something to think about. Yeah and so this week we're going to start off with a mini

topic. I think we all saw in the news there was that horrible fire that happened at

Notre Dame in France and it was like dominated

the news feeds thankfully we all know that a lot of the you know beautiful

architecture has been had like survived the fire is going to be

restored especially like the stained glass it represents hundreds of years of

history yeah it's not quite as bad as they thought it was going to be at

yeah still terrible yeah totally But they're going to rebuild.

Right. However, it got my gears turning about what I thought was a monster all these years.

I'm going to briefly tell you about the hunchback of Notre Dame.

This is a, I thought that this was a universal monster.

When you think, oh yeah, I think I had the the wrong idea I understand why I got the wrong idea from doing a little bit of research into this yeah but I was always under the impression that um like you would also see the

the mummy creature from the black lagoon and he would also see the

hunchback of Notre Dame. Now I think here's part of the reason why.

The hunchback was a universal movie that was released in

1923 and Quasimodo, the Hunchback himself,

was played by Lon Chaney.

Okay, that'll do it. Yeah, it was one of the famous movie monster actors.

And then also the story sort of got tainted and corrupted
