Scare Ya, Make You Stupid or Not Smarter this week, I think, and have a little fun with it.

I don't know, even if our topics are dumb, they're still learning something, right?

Well, it depends on how dumb. Sometimes something is so dumb that I feel like it detracts from your smartness because then you're

going to be at a cocktail party and people are going to be talking about Tolstoy and you're

going to be like, you know, there was an episode of celebrity ghost stories where

I believe it was Daniel Stern who said and then everybody in the room is gonna be like oh my

God oh no it's like ruining all your references we're gonna be like deluding your smartness because we're giving you a bunch of stupid information.

Maybe that's true. It's like the end of Billy Madison where he goes like we're all

stupider for having heard what you just said. Yes. Yeah I believe we have before we get into the topics

for the night. Sometimes we learn about things that aren't quite big enough to be

full on topics and when that happens Kristen we initiate bite-size monster

madness. That's right yes yes and I believe you have something that was kind

of surprising. Yes okay so I had a certain way I thought this was going to go. I had a bite-size monster

madness and I had my main event. As the day was progressing today on shooting, recording day.

I was feeling an unease about my topic.

I was thinking, man, my topic really sucks.

I don't have any time to change it. Like, I guess I'm gonna have to be self-deprecating about how this is so

boring how is that going to be fun for anybody all right you can't win them all whatever

and then I was thinking about my bite-sized monster madness.

I was like, now that's fun.

I wish I wasn't leading with that.
