Welcome to Goop Tales, Episode 31, Muddyfoot and the Botswannon Dirt Chaser.

I'm Maria Kalincini, and I'm the author of Goop Tales.

And today's episode is a very, very special episode because it is the first Goop Tales

that is inspired by a listener's idea.

So on the website GoopTales.com, there is now a button right on the front page where you can submit your idea for a goop tales story.

And the very first one that was submitted and the person who gave me this idea for the button is

Caitlin W. from Cornelius, Oregon. And Caitlin wrote in and sent me a fantastic idea for a story,

and I couldn't resist using it. So with her permission, today's story is inspired by Caitlin's

idea, which I am going to read to you right now.

Caitlin wrote in and said she had an idea or story idea that she wanted to share with the

world, and this is what she wrote. She said, it's about this boy who is always dirty, and his

name is dirty pants. He goes to Africa, and there is this lady who is always dirty and his name is dirty pants. He goes to Africa and there is this lady

who is always clean and she wants to be dirty for once and he is chased by her. So I took

Caitlin's inspiration and I used it for the goop muddy foot. And muddy foot, as you can imagine, is always

muddy and dirty. So in today's goop tale, Muddyfoot goes to Botswana in the south of Africa. And he

encounters a woman chasing him for his dirt.

So you're going to have to listen to the story to find out if he escapes or if she gets his dirt.
