Sunday night edition first two second round games are in the books both of them

I thought absolutely fascinating affairs but considering how it came down to the end

I think we need to start with Golden State at Memphis in game one sure

I thought both games are worth plenty of discussion and we can get to both of them

But the one that was closer at the end was Warrior Skrivileys and it was it was a

kind of a wild game throughout I mean you could think about that not only in terms of the swings at the end

but also the turnovers for the Warriors the Dremont Green ejection which of course we'll discuss

but everything else and but I think where I want to start is the initial strategy for each of these teams

we saw Steve Kerr change his starting lineup and open the game with Gary Payton the second starting and

Jordan Poole not starting and Cavon Looney not starting because Steph Curry has now

returned he returned starting lineup in game five against Denver and the theory there presumably which I

I supported at the time was I was thinking about when that came out I'm like oh that makes some sense is to put a better defender on

John Morant and Jordan Poole's defensive limitations were relevant in this game we'll get into where you go from here

but what did you think of that when you heard that it was at the case it wasn't too surprising

I think particularly because Morant had had a rough series against Minnesota the theory was let's not let him get some confidence early

and I thought overall Morant played pretty well on the offensive end 14 to 31 4 of 11 from three

that was the strategy just let him shoot every wanted tennisists returnovers 34 points in 38 minutes

but it wasn't a performance that was going to completely sink Golden State and

particularly given how small Golden State plays these days they were able to

outscore Memphis I didn't think but we'll get to that but I think in terms of the overall strategy

clearly paying playing Gary Peyton as much as they did was the right move like he was just fantastic

one of the key players down the end just made all sorts of hustle plays defensive plays so
