Instead, we can talk about what Steve Kerr called a throwback 90s game with a score in the 90s.

Houston and Golden State, Danny.

It was a fascinating game because I think we broadcast this one.

And the thinking about it since it finished in the totality makes me not feel differently than I did in the moment.

But Houston's offense was just so horrendous in the first half that I kind of had some of this like existential dread about the future, like, you know, like where their team is and all that type of stuff.

That's still there.

But I think where I want to start with this is is an idea that, yes, you and I both picked the Warriors to win this series.

Yes, they did win a road game one.

That said, this was a

truly horrendous, especially first shot offensive performance from the Houston Rockets. We will

chronicle that over the course of this podcast. But we also did eventually get to see a lot of the

theory of the case for how Houston can win this series on the defensive end, considering there was

a stretch of 12 minutes,
