I want to open up today by talking about dogs.

Two things that I saw or experienced actually about dogs. The first one was someone posted

online, it was a woman. She has a golden retriever and she said, I wanted to do something with my

golden retriever that he likes doing. So I thought, okay, they're going to go outside and she's

going to throw the ball or something like that.

But the picture was the dog up on the couch looking out the window to the street and her right next to the dog looking out the window to the street.

Because, you know, that is what dogs like to do a lot of the time time they just like to look out on the street and see what's going on uh sam likes to look out onto the street and every time

like a breeze moves through the trees and the shadow of the leaves changes on the ground

sam barks like hannibal lector's coming up the driveway. It is so,

I think that what's happened for me because of Sam's insane dementia barking, I think I've

lost my fight or flight reflex. He's just eroded it. It's at the point now where he barks so

insanely at everything that if there was a real threat, I would just sit here and be like, there's a guy coming in the living room with a bloody axe, whatever.

Like, I just can't even react anymore.

It's funny how some dogs will do that.

They'll look outside and if they can smell and dogs, you know, their sense of

smells like 400 times more powerful than ours. If they can smell another dog or see another
