We don't want to think about it.

But let's go to Ephesians, the fourth chapter.

We began last week on a new series, and we were excited about it.

Do you remember?

Ooh, yeah.

Ephesians 4 said verse 11,

Ephesians 411, God gave some apostles, some prophets, some evangelists,

some pastors and teachers for the perfecting of the saints, for the work of the ministry,

for the edifying building up of the body of Christ.

Till or untilled, we come in the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God.

Now notice he didn't say unity of doctrine.

If you're waiting until everybody's doctrine gets exactly parallel and in agreement,

you're going to be waiting a long time.

But we can all grow up in faith and all have faith he said to we all come in the unity of the faith

and of the knowledge of the son of God unto a perfect man what does it mean perfect man this is

talking about full grown man don't let this word perfect throw you if you look it up in other

translations you'll see what we're talking about.
