When you live in a place where there is no, there's no hope that things are going to change in the future. Everybody lives on the edge.

Everybody is just edgy. And if you don't live on the edge and if you don't feel like you're

on the edge, you won't be able to survive.

You have to get hard.

I was never going to be the type of person that's going to be all the way on the edge.

I had good grades you know and I cared and I really didn't want to get in trouble,

but there were kids that just lean into it and just became really bad-ass motherfockers.

And there's no consequences because there's no future.

So whether I punch you in the face and I get expelled for a week or a month, it doesn't matter.
