Today we're learning how to grow chamomile, also known as camamomile, I can't even say that seriously.

Camamille and then using it in some sort of tea and or kamuucha that's the way that I seem to like to do it

gardener and I grow things because I like them not necessarily for you know some sort of medicinal benefit

Although that may be true. I'm just not the person to listen to on that so let's talk about Camamille and how to grow it.

What should we know?

There's actually several species that are identified

as a type of Camamille.

All of them are in the Daisy family,

so they have that sort of classic white pedal and yellow

flower in the middle or yellow little cone in the middle but only two of these

species are used for food and other products.

So those are the ones that we are going to look at.

The first one is Camamelum Nobil, or Roman Camamil.

And then the next one is Matrikaria Camamilla or German Camamille.
