0:00.0	There's many different ways to approach the garden, and it really just depends on your
0:18.0	individual goals as a grower.
0:20.2	We have Adam Alexander back on the show, he's the seed detective, and as we learned in
0:24.8	yesterday's episode, saving seed, preserving seed, and certainly finding rare seed is something
0:30.4	that he's very interested in.
0:31.7	If you are interested in doing this in your own garden, well, Adam, this is something
0:37.9	that you do exclusively almost, right?
0:40.6	So I'm curious how your garden actually looks.
0:43.9	Well, it's interesting that you ask because I'm particularly at this time of year, you
0:49.5	know, is we're coming out of summer into fall.
0:52.0	And my garden is a garden going to seed.
0:56.6	I mean, I made a couple of videos recently, you know, about a gardener that looks like
1:03.5	it's dead, but it isn't.
1:06.4	And it's a garden where I grow maybe, I can grow up to 120 or 130 different varieties
1:15.3	of vegetables in my garden, and it's not very big at all.
1:19.6	But I grow a large, small amounts of a large number of different varieties.
1:25.4	And obviously, a lot of them I'm eating, and there is some that I grow, which I just,
1:33.4	it's not that they're difficult to save seed, but they can be quite challenging and complex
1:39.6	and often you need a lot of space.
1:41.6	But essentially, my garden is full of varieties that are really easy to save seed from.
1:49.2	And I think it's one of the, you know, a lot of people say to me, oh gosh, it must be
1:53.2	so difficult to save seeds.
