Because he grows like Trinidad's variety's scorpions.

And all that jazz. I mean, you used to grow peppers a bit in a little mini outdoor greenhouse, Scott. I'm going to do it again. It makes his own hot sauces, which in turn sparked him. And he's not trying to go into business or anything. He's just having fun. Actually, he sells his own personal bottled hot sauce at the restaurant, which is freaking good.
