What you got everything's been good around the bakery? Everything has been good. You know, actually we got the whole mask, mandatory mask thing a couple days ago. I'm trying to deal with this COVID thing. I think it was in denial about it for a while. But I started wearing

the mask. Today I started wearing the mask because they won't lay in without it. I was thinking

about like the old guy at the hardware store. He sees like a thousand people a day or, you know,

at home depot. That's pretty bad risk. You know what I mean? Or at least like you got to run into 20 people,

it's different than running into a thousand people. So just got me thinking about it. As a matter of fact,

my buddy Brandon, Brandon DGC, he helped me out with this podcast. And I start listening to it.

I don't know why I would click a COVID podcast, but I did. And it gave me, it gave me this riddle in the beginning. And it, the riddle was basically about math, about exponential math, how it was basically, I keep on saying, I don't know anybody with COVID. I don't see why we got to, you know, act this way. And then the guy came and presented some math to me. Okay. So I want to present this. Like a word problem.

A word problem. I want to present to guru. I want to see if you can get this. All right. This is one of those questions that they give like when you're interviewing at Google and whatnot. One of these intellectual questions. You're ready? I like word problems. I'm ready. All right. Do jump in to. All right, you got a lake.

There's a patch of lily pads, and every day the patch doubles in size. If it takes 48 days for the patch to cover the entire lake, how long would it take for the patch to cover just half the lake? 47 days. Did you cheat, man? No. I mean, I still had a pond. I was just in my pondering process there yep it's one of those things it's not a difficult question but it gets you it's a how do you think kind of

question you know do you try to overcomplicate things is a very simple answer in there and it just

shows you how fast once something is in an exponential growth curve, how fast it can

get out of control. This is what really changed my thoughts on, you know, the whole pandemic thing

and whatnot. I'm sitting here yelling, I don't know anybody. But meanwhile, just a few people when

exponential growth can really, really cause a huge change.

So anyway, just made me think about it.
