I read Mitch McConnell statement yesterday and he read my phone call and as you know he put out a statement that said that was the most innocent phone call he's read.

And I spoke to him about it too. He read my phone call with the president of Ukraine Mitch McConnell. He said that was the most innocent phone call that I read yesterday and quite possibly the least surprising news of all time Mitch McConnell through Donald Trump under the bus.

We've not had any conversations on that subject. So he was lying about that? I don't recall any conversations with the president about that phone call.

Thanks. In other news, the political world was in a tizzy yesterday after Trump said quote, so someday if a Democrat becomes president and the Republicans win the House even by a tiny margin, they can impeach the president without due process or fairness or any legal rights.

All Republicans must remember what they are witnessing here a lynching, but we will win the goal to to to suggest that he is experiencing a lynching.

How dare the president compare lynching to impeachment and then do have the most privileged, the most powerful white man on the face of the planet.

Invoke that same word to describe what is happening to him is one of the most obscene things that I've heard in American life.

To reference lynching is to play fast and loose with our dead. And now this what we are doing or what we are doing here is not a prosecution. It's a persecution. And indeed it is a political lynching.

I will not vote for this lynching in the people's house.

Even if the president should be impeached history is going to question whether or not this was just a partisan lynching.

This they feels to me like we're taking a step down the road to becoming a political lynch mob.

This is about getting rid of the president of the United States. The whole idea is a lynch mob mentality.
