I'm Aaron Chadbourne sitting in for Howie today.

He's still on vacation the rest of the week. So if you've enjoyed having me this week, you're in luck. I'm back tomorrow. If you haven't enjoyed it, well, tough, you're going to deal with it anyway. Thanks for being with us. Thanks also to the Portland Media Group at WGAN for letting me use their studio to broadcast. It's a beautiful day in Maine today, Jared. I don't know how it is down there, but it is gorgeous. It still feels like summer. Phenomenal down here today. It's like this is the summer that we waited for. June was terrible. July was decent, but this is the stretch that we've been waiting for. People are taking their last, how we picked a great week to be on vacation. I know the mailroom manager has him chained to the desk to finish that book, but like, I hope he's getting out that and enjoying the cape. Still no eyes on him, though, not on an ex, no Howie sightings. Have not seen anything. There was a column posted, though. So he's definitely writing. He's writing. We knew he

was going to be writing this week. That was what he promised, and that's what he is delivering on.

He's missing some of the meltdowns going on on the left. We've obviously had a lot of meltdowns

going on over what's happening with the quote-unquote gerrymandering, the end of democracy in Texas, where the

democratically elected legislature and governor are updating the maps so that it more adequately

represents the people who are there, the voters that are there.

But we're also having meltdowns now in Los Angeles, Mayor Karen Bass.

Now, it's nice for her to take a break from, where was she?
