Hello, three minutes after ten is a time. A very good morning indeed to you. Quite a lot to get through today,

although I don't think you

would win any prizes for predicting what may most interest us. We will, I think, begin with

testing. We'll certainly be having a look at schools, and we may have time to return to the

vexed question of whether or not governments should obey international law.

But I'm going to start with Richard E. Grant.

I mean, you know the actor, of course,

Withnell and I and Sundry other superb performances.

But he tweeted something yesterday or the day before.

That I just sort of, you know, when something just gets you right in the, right in the sort of

notables, you sort of look at it and think, I don't know, I actually don't know enough about

this issue. So he tweeted a rather lovely photograph of himself, enjoying an Italian sunset,

and said, how come when I arrived in Rome, I got a COVID test at the airport and I got the results

within half an hour? And I kind of, I looked at the replies, expecting to see somebody setting him

straight or somebody pouring some cold water upon the question, not in a negative or a nasty way,

but just by saying, oh, no, no, the thing you don't understand is or a nasty way, but just by saying, oh, no,

no, no, the thing you don't understand is that that test X, Y, Z, or oh, no, no, no, it may have felt

as if you were, but actually that's, but it appears to be true. And then I saw the magnificent

academic Devi Shridhar being interviewed elsewhere as well. And she was talking about how countries

like Vietnam, and I think she might have mentioned Senegal. It was certainly not a country that you

think of as being at the sort of top of the G7 tree or top of the GDP tree. I beg your pardon.
