The Pacific Legal Foundation has filed a lawsuit against the Department of Education.

This is over the new student loan cancellation policy, and they became the first organization

to challenge the Biden administration's move to transfer student debt.

The federal lawsuit was filed in the U.S. District Court of the Southern District of Indiana.

It contends that the Biden's decision to cancel student loan debt for some borrowers is illegal,

because Congress holds the power of the purse and did not approve this.

And this is the, because we had been saying for a while, like, what is everyone waiting

on to file lawsuits on this thing?

The Biden administration is starting to craft the rules on this.

They were, you know, it could be as early as October that people are going to be able

to start applying for this.

What is everybody waiting on?

And this is a problem.
