The New Discourses Podcast with James Lindsay, Episode 82 Before the last year or so, two terms you wouldn't have expected to encounter together are "drag queen" and "early childhood education," but we're now about three years into a full-fledged Communist revolution in the Western world, which has made it not only commonplace but shoved all in our faces. Here we are in the midst of June, "Pride Month," 2022, and the Leftist collision of drag queens and young children has been center-stage all month long, including in schools. Perhaps unsurprisingly, the idea of using drag queens, or specifically a program called Drag Queen Story Hour, as an intentional educational methodology in schools isn't just some fringe activist project but also appears in the scholarly education literature. In this unbelievable episode of the New Discourses Podcast, host James Lindsay reads through an academic paper, "Drag pedagogy: The playful practice of queer imagination in early childhood" (https://www.tandfonline.com/doi/full/10.1080/03626784.2020.1864621), in the journal Curriculum Inquiry. In light of this paper, it is virtually undeniable: what we're dealing with in schools is Marxism, specifically Queer Marxism here, and it has turned our schools into Groomer Schools. 0:28.5	today I still am, but I also regret having to record another episode that I did not expect of
0:37.4	the Groomer Schools Podcast series that I did last October and November. So I did three episodes,
0:46.0	I'm not going to summarize them in tremendous detail, but I'll just point out what they were,
0:51.2	Groomer Schools 1. I summarized that there's a long history of using
0:56.3	sexual and sexuality education in Marxism, at least a century old, to try to achieve some goals.
1:05.3	One is to destabilize the children, to sexualize children in particular. So it's to destabilize the
1:12.4	children, to make them groomable, if you will, to Marxist ideas, to get them to crave, to need
1:20.4	a liberation from the repressive society they find themselves in, but in the process you also
1:26.3	create the conditions by which the younger generation will sever itself, from the older generation,
1:32.5	from their family, from their existing nation and culture, and from the religion that they grew
1:40.0	up with, which probably has more conservative morals, that was Groomer Schools Episode 1.
1:45.6	Groomer Schools 2, I read a paper from Queer Theory, which is going to be similar to what I'm
1:49.8	doing today. In that episode, I covered a paper that attacks the idea of childhood innocence,
1:56.6	particularly, at the level of early childhood development psychology and early childhood education,
2:02.8	this paper is by Hannah Dyer, and it talks about having to go after the idea of childhood
2:07.6	innocence entirely, so that you can create queer futurity. In other words, so that you can
2:13.3	awaken the possibility for a queer future in the children that you are sexually
2:18.5	and ideologically abusing through the comprehensive sexual education or sexualities education that
2:24.6	you're giving them, and that's the name that we see for this program, comprehensive sexualities
2:29.7	education embedded within social-emotional learning programs, for example, especially
