Summary

Today I sit down with grief coach and author Shelby Forsythia to explore how grief—far from being an enemy—becomes our most profound teacher. Shelby shares her raw journey of losing her mother at 21, the ‘four years of hell’ that reshaped her life, and how a stolen wallet unlocked her path to becoming a ‘student of grief.’ Together, we unpack the myths of ‘moving on,’ the power of tiny grief mantras, and how synchronicities (like palindromes!) connect us to loved ones beyond the veil. If you’ve ever felt ‘stuck’ in loss or wondered how joy and sorrow coexist, this conversation is your roadmap. Join us as we honor grief not as an end, but as a sacred beginning

We discussed signs and synchronicities, of course, my favorite topic, and so many other things

And one of the things we talk

about is how in some ways we all are. So with that, here is my podcast with Shelby for Scythea.

We need at our table of awareness, the logician, but equally we need the intuitive, we need the mystic.

1:24.9

I was died. I was allowed to go to the very precipice of death,

1:28.9

of life and death, and look over the edge. And I was allowed to behold what was there and allowed

to come back. Most people aren't. When we talk about being aligned with our self or being

1:39.4

aligned with our soul or hearing our higher self, that's really what we're talking about is being connected to that

divine part of ourself, that light-filled part of us, that is connected to God energy, that is

connected to everybody here and every experience we've ever had. If more doctors, more
