My guest on this week's episode is the witty and wonderful comedian Carriead Lloyd, who herself has an award-winning podcast called Griefcast, in which she speaks to all sorts of people about their experience of grief.

Since losing her father in her teens, Carriad has been opening up the conversation about loss, which is why I thought she'd be the perfect match for honestly, as we had grappled with the uncomfortable conversation of grief. Oh, and a bit of housekeeping. As is the general theme for 2020, we encountered some

technical issues on my side of the recording. It may sound like I was podcasting from the toilet,

but I can assure you this isn't the case. If you could hang on in there,

it does improve and I hope it doesn't get them in the way of what is a brilliant episode.

So I always hope to start with a quick fire round to get us in the vibe of being honest. So let's crack on

with that. On a scale of 1 to 10, how confident are you? Totally depends on where I am on stage nine in real life

probably like four five and how about motherhood I guess this time around do you feel a massive

shift in the way of parenting yeah I'm much more confident now I'd still say about eight

you know what I mean because there's still moments you think, God, what am I doing? This is terrifying.

Or they look at you and they look at you like, is that right? You think, I don't know.

Why are you doubting it? If you're doubting it, maybe it's wrong.

This is quite a personal question. On a scale of 1 to 10, how patient are you? Oh, impatient. I am probably, I would say before children,

I was like a two. Like, since I've had kids, I've got much better. I'd say she has taught me

patience. So I'm probably about 4.5. I really am. I have no patience. I've no tolerance
