governor Gretchen Whitmer and chief mobility officer Trevor Paul

discussed the state of mobility in Michigan. But first Leslie, a lot of news this week to discuss. A lot of it involves

former guests on the shift podcast. A lot going on. Where do you want to start?

Well it makes you wonder I mean are people in high places listening to this podcast? I mean we had a big merger announcement. Well actually an acquisition, I should be more accurate about that, involving two of our former guests.

So, Pete, let's hear more about that.

That's right. We've had Ouster L LIDAR CEO Angus Picalla and Sens Photonics LIDAR CEO, Sean McIntyre,

on, I think, in the last five or six weeks.

And we just heard that Ouster is buying Sensmotonics, which is an interesting deal.

It's funny, you know, when we talked to Shauna, I almost was thinking as she was talking that their technology, their digital LIDAR technology

sounded a lot like what Ouster in particular did out of all these LIDAR companies.

So maybe I should have asked you more, more plainly about how sense

compliments Oster because clearly there is a deal in the works and that was an interesting thing

to see this week.
