The added incentive to Russians to intervene is likely supercharged in this election

because of the way the politics in the United States play out around support to Ukraine.

So you have the possibility of the Russians being incentivized to actually intervene in a way

that would help Republicans who would be adverse to additional Ukraine aid and to hinder the prospects

of Democrats.
