A warning before we start, this episode contains strong language. Just before 1 a.m. on the 14th of June 2017, a fridge caught fire in a flat on the fourth floor of a tower block in one of the wealthiest areas of West London.

The block housed a tight-knit community that came from all over the world,

a jeweller from Afghanistan, a security guard from Eritrea, a fishmonger whose family had fled the civil war in Somalia.

Among those born in Britain were a painter and decorator, an artist and a nursery nurse. They were neighbors who made extra plates of food

for the flat next door, who'd keep an eye on each other's children, who celebrated birthdays

and grieved losses together.

It took just 30 minutes for the flames to reach the 24th floor, aided by the towers brand

new and highly combustible cladding, which had been installed to make the building look a bit nicer, as well as to make it warmer and drier.

72 people died.
