To begin at the beginning, today's op-ed at HartmanReport.com, as titled,

is the GOP, is the Republican Party getting away with polite denial,

while their base is overtly racist and anti-Semitic.

I stirred out this article with the story of John Cornyn because I think he's really instructive.

Three days in a row, the day after the story came out about Trump's dinner with Nick Fuente,

the Holocaust denier and white supremacist,

and Kanye West, who apparently is at the very least a Holocaust denier or an anti-Semite.

After this story came out, a reporter for Ross story,

uh, cornered John Cornyn as he was walking down the hall,

didn't corner. I mean, he'd caught up with him as he was walking down the hall in the

Senate office building, and said, uh, what do you think about this?

And Cornyn said, I got more important stuff to do,

which led Claire McCaskill on MSNBC to say,

the Senator Cornyn has more important things to do than take 30 seconds and say to a reporter,
