Hi, Pete, how are you? I'm doing good. A lot of news this week to discuss for the headlines portion of the podcast here. There's some new EV sales data and obviously I think everybody is tracking that closely as we've talked about a

Slow down the last couple months. What is the latest from the EV sales front? Yeah, so we've been covering this slowing pace of EV growth for a while now and that's continued pretty dramatically.

EV sales grew, you know, they continue to grow. They grew 2.6% year over year in the first quarter

but that's compared to a growth rate of 46% in Q1, of 2023.

So that is a big slowdown in pace,

even though E.B. sales are rising.

There's been a lot of incentives on E.B.

to help move them, and the inventory numbers are still very, very high.

So that's something we continue to follow.

Hybrid sales though, we saw, you know, brand by brand, they really increased across the board during the first

quarter Toyota reached 37 percent its it's hybrid and EV share which was mostly hybrid was 37% of its light vehicle sales so that's up from

25% last year. Similar things happened at Honda Ford Hyundai lots of of action on hybrids as growth drivers.
