me, Greg, Chait, the founder and mastermind behind the line, the elder statesman. One of the

things I love so much about the stuff is that it's really about California colors to me. I mean,

I'm always seeing sort of blues and reds that remind me of California, like sunsets or blues

or the ocean

or even some greens. But those colors come across in quite a few of the pieces you do,

don't that? Yeah. We always have pink in every single collection. Yes, you do. You do, especially

the tie-dye stuff you do. But with those, the color signature to me speaks elder statesmen as much as

anything.

I mean, I always feel like there's a palette that either consciously or subconsciously you work from.

I think it's probably a subconscious thing.

For me, we work with so many different, like, yarns and stitches and textures and different ways of dyeing,

that when you apply the same kind of color concept

to different yarns or fabrics,

it kind of looks deep and rich,

and that's kind of how we play with those colors.

It's also a great tactile thing.

I remember the first time actually touching one of your pieces at Max Field and thinking,

oh my God, it just feels like it's something so inviting about the touching of it.
