Oh, boom Sports Hub. All right, it's Tim McCone, Alex Barth, in for Toucher and Rich on this Monday morning,

and we are joined by Greg Bedard.

Greg, we spent some time on just overall the disappointing day for the Patriots defense,

but really want to kind of get into the secondary here with you.

You brought up the Stefan Gilmore no longer being on this roster,

and obviously Jonathan Jones being banged up as well, certainly hurt,

but just your overall takeaway here from the secondary

and what the bills might have exposed overall for

New England? They're not going to match up with certain teams if they don't get enough pressure.

I don't think they have enough coverage options. The Patriots had to cover way too long,

especially in the low red zone yesterday. I mean, where Josh Allen has, you know,

three, four, five seconds to, you know, I can remember the McKenzie touchdown. He just had

all day. Mackenzie went from one side of the field to the other. That went on all the time.

Like when you're playing zone defense, you're not expecting the receivers to be able to run from

zone to zone. That's when gaps open up. That's when you're not covering. Like you have to pressure

in a certain amount of time or else it doesn't work. And because the Patriots can't cover

man to man like they once did, they have to play zone.
