Greenland's Prime Minister is warning that the current situation over the island could threaten world order.

President Donald Trump is not backing down from his threats to acquire Greenland.

And now the Danish government says it's sending more equipment and advisors to Greenland to beef up emergency preparedness.

An official says Danish authorities are also giving Greenland advice on securing communication and critical infrastructure at the request of the territory's government.

Member of parliament Kuno Finker tells CNN that his people are prepared to defend their nation against potential attacks.

We will fight back no matter what, if it's Denmark or US, even though we know we are much less

stronger and we don't even have a military, but we will have to fight back no matter what.

Meanwhile, Trump shared screenshots of private messages from world leaders in multiple social media posts overnight.

In one of them, French President Emmanuel Macron says, quote,

I do not understand what you are doing on Greenland.

A source close to Macron confirmed it was a real text.

And adding fuel to the fire, Trump also posted two AI-generated images of the U.S. claiming Greenland.
