Hyjah, and senior writer Christine, Rosen, Hyj Christine, so 19 years after 9-11 and Christine,

you are fit to be tied about something going on on this anniversary of 9-11. Can you

be honest with him? I was telling you guys just before we started recording, so every year on 9-11

I actually sit my kids down they were born after 9-11 and we talk a little bit about it we talk

about what happened and I do that because first of all I was in Washington DC and I have

extremely strong memories of this I know people who died I know people whose lives were at risk

as all of you guys in New York do as well and I but mainly because it was for a lot of us for a

lot of Americans a very crucial moment in our history. So what I woke up to this morning that was

so annoying is it's now being used to compare to Covid deaths and yes more people have tragically

died of the of Covid then died in 9-11 but to compare the two as kind of events is deeply wrong

and comparing apples to oranges and it's upsetting for this reason 9-11 was a planned concerted

attack on our way of life that was devised and executed by people who hope to bring down our

nation and everything it stood for very clear that is not what's going on with a pandemic and

that what upsets me is that every death is a tragedy but to compare the tragedies themselves in

this way is is ineffectual and to me offensive because it suggests that they are somehow morally

equal in the damage that they hope to inflict and it imposes a motive on something that is a

disease and in that way kind of excuses in some ways or or or weakens the true motive of the

terrorist who attacked us on 9-11 so it just annoys me and I might be an outlier here but I don't
