Firebase Anaconda is like in the worst defensible place you could put a firebase in.

You had the mountains all around it and you were right up against this little village that

it shared a wall with you.

There was one way in, one way out, and it started off very, very simple, just little skirmishes, pop shots, you know, prane spray.

At some point, that changed.

You can see people moving and communicating, supporting by fire while they moved. These guys

knew what they were doing, and they were closing with us. It kicked it off, you know, crazy,

cracers, explosions, things going on. And round came in, it hit the swing arm, and popped up in, and ricochet up into my arm. Thank God I had my arm on top of the gun. If I hadn't had that there, the round probably hits me in the face. I did what I needed to do, put a turniquet on, cinched it up, And you got right back in the gunfighting because of course what happens they crank it off.
