the great 2022 movies we missed on pop culture happy hour from NPR.

Hi Linda, hi Aisha.

So today we are talking about movies we missed from 2022, films that we loved, and we think

you should see, but we didn't wind up discussing them on this show.

Each of us is going to offer one film recommendation that didn't get its own PCHH episode.

Badatri, I want to start with you.

What is your pick?

My pick is a feature documentary called All That Breeds.

It's an Indian documentary directed by Sean Oksen, and it's about two brothers who basically,

officially they run a soap dispenser business in their basement, but in the same basement

they also run a little hospital for these birds that are called black kites, and they're

very common in Delhi, like the skies of Delhi are dotted by them.

So it is essentially about how they run this hospital, how they're trying to fundraise

to build a more formal, bigger hospital, but it's also about so many other things.
