On this episode, we dig into some news-related items that will impact waiver decisions over this week.

And it's a waiver-centric episode.

Talk about players moving up into more prominent roles.

Some players falling out of prominent roles, looking at pitchers with different arsenals,

things that have changed over the course the first week of the season.

So a lot of ground to cover.

And we had big news this week, Al.

After initially keeping him off of their opening day roster, the Orioles brought up Grayson Rodriguez and had to make his big league debut on Wednesday against the Rangers.

After a bumpy first inning. He settled

down, pitched reasonably well. And this is all because Kyle Bradish is on the IL. So it's tough

to read this situation right now because I think there's a chance that Grayson Rodriguez pitches

well enough to change the Orioles initial assessment. But there's also a chance that Grayson Rodriguez pitches well enough to change the Orioles initial

assessment. But there's also a chance that he's not terrible and still gets sent back down

when Bradish comes back if everyone else stays healthy. Now, timing is everything here. There might

have been a handful of leagues where people decided to go ahead and release Grayson Rodriguez last

weekend during Fab. So availability is still going to be somewhat limited. I think a lot of people wanted to stash and see what would happen when he came up. But in leagues where he's available, how are you treating Grayson-Nor-Riguez? How aggressively are you pursuing him? Well, yeah, the key word or phrase here, you know, DVR that you mentioned is, you know, limited availability.

So if I don't know that I have any leagues that are shallow enough where he would be available.

So if I, if I were or if he were in my shallowest league, a 12 team three outfielder league, yeah, I would be going double digit percentage fab like 11, 12

percent because I highly doubt that he'll go back down. And I tend to think that he's going to be

really good. So I think good enough that in a 12 team league, that he'd be somebody that more often would be in your rotation than not.

Yeah, we saw that in the debut four-seamer change-up, slider, and curbball.
