You know, I've never told anybody in my story.

When I was 11 years old, life was tough.

Where's mama?

She's gone. She don't want me no more.

She don't want you neither.

My dad was a monster and I saw God transform him.

I didn't think that God could do that.

And so I wrote this song for my dad.

There is the gravity, that which pulls us toward God, the draw of divine

gravity.

But there is another gravity we contend with continually, and it would be the gravity of this

world.

There's something that just pulls us.

I mean, it just pulls us.

And would it be fair to say that we are

constantly in this tension between being pulled toward the things of the world and being pulled

toward the things of God? Does anybody know that kind of tension? Luke chapter two, Luke chapter two, and let me get you a little bit up to speed as we get there.
