I've been part of live music in many different levels of venues. So

Yeah, it's a cause that's close to my heart and then when I got the brief on who I was going to get to talk to about this

I was buzzing because today I'm joined by a Sam dab who's been holding things down at Newport venue La Pave for over 25 years

And she knows her stuff when it comes to grassroots music venue. She's seen it all in her tenor at this

Prized venue and like why she knows the real struggle of keeping these small businesses

Alive a story begins in the Midlands

But she found herself in Newport at the age of 13 and then

Fast forward

To the night reason she was signed to a label wherever banned this go and even had a record deal and dropped a few records

But her journey with La Pave started as a teenager where she started as a 17 year old wannabe punter
