I want you to understand with me what was nailed on that cross.

Every single legal code against you.

Every single commandment that God has ever, ever voiced and put down in paper,

everything you have ever broken.

I want you to understand that literally those were nailed.

I just want you to hear that hammer in your mind. That when those nails went into his flesh at that

crucifixion, it was nailing those things to the wood.

That the full p would be paid for every single one we had broken if we placed our faith in the work of Jesus Christ on the cross. Every single thing.

I want you to imagine with me tonight.

So don't think in legal language in the scriptures necessarily. Just think with me of your own sins.

And do you realize that that's all nailed there?

That everything, every word that could be used of me,

every word to describe my sins, my failures, all of them nailed to that cross

where the body of Jesus would hang to his death and he would triumph over the rulers and

authorities. I love this because in the scriptures and a lot of Paul's writings, and that is the

Apostle Paul, rulers and authorities is often talking about the powers of darkness in the heavenly realms.

And so I want you to understand with me that when the cross of Christ was occurring,

that the heavens would have been full of demonic principalities and powers, full of it,

because they had come to see the death of the Prince of

Glory. They'd come to see that he had been rejected, that he had been shamed, hung naked,

all the full weight of sin poured upon him, and they all gathered in the skies skies the rulers and the authorities to see the big

spectacle of his defeat only instead on that same cross he defeated them they got to think

...
