Now, this episode was supposed to go out last Tuesday, and it didn't.

Obviously, so I'm putting it out today.

I'm excited to be able to bring to you our current guest that is coming on the show today.

That's an amazing dude and makes some stupendous work.

Just love, love, love his work.

But I'm just going to tell you that I had recorded this particular part of the show

three different times. Actually, this is my third time of recording. Maybe it's my fourth time.

And each time it just didn't come out right. So I think that's probably more why I didn't release the episode.

I was pretty down in the dumps.

Not like depressed, but not super encouraged.

I had eye surgery and that surgery was relatively successful in that there's a little bit of an

orange wedge kind of, you know, that's the shape that I can only think of that is part of my

vision in my right eye.

And so I got some vision back.

And that was pretty exciting, especially initially that I'd gone a month with 100%

blindness in my right eye.

And then to open my eye the day after surgery and to see this little orange slice in my eye that I could see through.

It was initially very exciting.
