bear with me this week. I have a little bit of a cold. It is not COVID because I had that a few weeks

ago. But it is just a little tickle cough and probably allergies are involved as well. And so I just

want to apologize and thank you for your patients up front. During the interview today, my responses and questions

may be a little shorter than usual. Otherwise, I break out and do a coughing fit. And you all know

what that's like. So hopefully it'll get better soon. But just bear with me and I want to thank you.

Also, we are back. You may have noticed after a short break for Labor Day. And I hope all of you

had a chance to rest

and celebrate your achievements as the summer season winds down and fall officially, or

unofficially, I should say, gets underway. And I say celebrate your achievements because that is

the history of this USA holiday as a nod to the American worker and the role that all of us play in

advancing our nation's strength, freedom, and leadership. That is how the holiday is described,

and it has been celebrated in the U.S. since 1882. And if you're interested in learning more

about Labor Day, like how it came to be. We will have a link in the show

notes called the History of Labor Day from the U.S. Department of Labor. And it's very interesting,

especially if like me, you are a history buff. I mean, these kind of things, like we just take it

for granted. Like, okay, the first Monday in September is always Labor Day. Well, how did that start? Why did it start? Who got it
